We look at fiber type, soil level and how much drying time your schedule allows before deciding between hot-water extraction and a lower-moisture approach, rather than running one process on every job.
Not every dull-looking carpet needs cleaning – some need replacing. A quick check: press a finger into the pile in a low-traffic corner, then in a worn path. If the worn spot stays flat while the corner springs back, the problem is fiber wear, not soil, and cleaning won't fix it. If backing shows through the pile, that's a replacement conversation. Carpet with body left that just looks or smells dull from ground-in soil is what cleaning is for.
