Verona is a rural community in South Frontenac Township, northwest of Kingston, with a mix of year-round rural homes, seasonal cottage properties, and larger-lot residential builds.
A property that sits closed up over winter can come back with dust or a musty odor in the carpet and pad, so we check the carpet before we clean it.
Verona is scheduled alongside our other South Frontenac stops, so a quote or job here fits into a normal route.
We build extra drive time into the schedule for properties further from the main roads around Verona, and we tell you when you book. A rural address does not turn into a delay on the day of the appointment. For a seasonal property, confirm access details with us ahead of time.
In this Verona home, we installed a textured runner with black bound edges on white-painted stairs, with matching carpet across the landing above. The runner is centred on each tread so the painted edges show the same width on both sides. Binding gives the runner a finished border and keeps the cut sides from fraying.
Wall-to-wall rooms, plus basic stair runners at $40-$60 per step on straight stairs.
Entry and hallway carpet cleaned of tracked-in dirt, with stain and odor treatment.
Burns and tears patched with matching carpet, and loose carpet restretched, at $100-$450 per room.
On our Verona jobs, homes on gravel roads track more sand, dirt and fine gravel dust into entry and hallway carpet than homes on in-town streets, especially through wet spring and fall weather. We factor that into pad selection and cleaning recommendations for rural Verona homes. For mudrooms and front hallways, we recommend entry matting or a tougher carpet grade where it suits how the property is used.
For rural Verona homes, see carpet cleaning for grit tracked in from gravel roads, wall-to-wall carpet installation and carpet padding for a firmer setup in busy entries and hallways, and area rug cleaning for entry rugs. Nearby, we also serve Harrowsmith and Sydenham.
Yes, we cover South Frontenac Township's communities, including Verona and the surrounding rural area.
Yes. We assess the carpet's condition first, since a closed-up season can leave added dust or a musty odor to treat.
Both. We install new carpet and stair runners, and we clean, repair and restretch existing carpet.
